The topic of discussion for today is two of my favorite people, Stephanie & Gwen from Arvada, Colorado. If the names or faces look familiar to you, it’s because I’ve photographed this family before and little Gwennie’s tea party is in my general portfolio, featured right here on my website. Stephanie and I have been friends since before Gwen was born 7 years ago, in fact, her daughter and my son share a birthday!

I was so excited when I got a call from Stephanie saying she wanted to book a session with daughter during my last trip out to Denver. I remember when Gwen was a little baby and to see how much she’s grown is just amazing! This little girl has overcome so much in her 7 years on this planet! I was happy to know that they enjoyed working with me as much as I enjoyed them!
When I visited their home recently, the images from our last session were proudly being displayed on their walls. “We love these pictures so much,” says Donette (Stephanie’s mom), “but its time to update them with new pictures. I can’t wait to see what you capture!” I’m so honored to do this for your family!
Not only is Stephanie a hard-working single mom of a child with special needs, she also runs her own business (a few actually) and she’s a career Army Reservist! She’s tough as nails and just about as nice as can be….. I couldn’t be more excited to give you these images, Steph 🙂
As expected, Mom did a wonderful job preparing their matching outfits for our session. I thought the colors played well with the scenery and they looked adorable, to boot!
