Jenney’s Maternity Session | Claremore Maternity Photographer

Every once in a while, you’ll meet someone and know that God put them there for a reason. Meet Jenney, she’s one of those people in my life. We met through a mutual friend who started out as a client of my husband’s. As it turns out, Jenney used to live in the house that I currently live in! In addition, we both love essential oils, are mommas who love to TRY and eat clean, send our kids to Christian schools and we both have connections to lineman (super dangerous job – thank a lineman if you have power!). That’s a whole lotta randomness that, to me, is amazing that we have in common. She’s pretty awesome!

As a Claremore maternity photographer, I decided to put a call out for a maternity model not too long ago and our mutual friend suggested Jenney fill the spot. While Jenney wasn’t feeling her prettiest (I mean, who is at 37 weeks with their fourth child!) she decided to go ahead and do it because this was her LAST planned pregnancy and having maternity photos is something she hadn’t done with the previous 3 kids. Being the last, it’s a kind of bittersweet memento of the magical times she grew a tiny human inside of her and she will now have these portraits to look back and cherish these times.

She arrived not really knowing what to expect. I welcomed her into my studio (which used to be her old bedroom) and we began talking about what she hoped to get out of the experience. I threw a few curlers in her hair and touched up her make up while we chatted. Before long, we were ready to start shooting! We started in the dress she brought but as the session progressed, I brought out some long pieces of fabric to fashion a custom maternity dress that looked downright elegant on her 🙂

This is what she said directly following the session BEFORE she even saw one preview:

I want to day a HUGE thank you to Tami Molinaro for making me feel absolutely beautiful during our photo shoot this evening. The only other time I’ve felt that comfortable in front of a camera and pretty was my wedding day. YOU have a true gift. Thank you for making this pregnant woman feel amazing!

This is what she said AFTER she saw this preview:

Thank you again Tami Molinaro for taking such beautiful maternity photos. It’s not easy to make a huge pregnant lady feel beautiful on a hot Oklahoma spring day but you succeeded.

I am so happy to have been able to deliver such a great experience for you, Jenney!

Stay tuned for a sneak peek at the newborn session we did for her just before our Denver trip! Little D’s big debut!
