The subject of today’s blog post is a certain adorable bundle of joy named Lyric. She arrived at 7:17 AM on May 1st at Parker Adventist Hospital. I was truly honored that Tyler & Sarah, Lyric’s parents, let me be a part of this monumental milestone in their lives.
This sweet nugget made her debut at Parker Adventist weighing 7 pounds 3 ounces and measured in at 19-1/2 inches long. Sarah did a great job throughout the entire 7-1/2 hours of labor. She handled the contractions like a champion!
It was wonderful to see Dad there helping, too. You could see he was overwhelmed with happiness when baby Lyric finally entered the world. The love they shared immediately was so overwhelming that there was not a dry eye in the room.
“Nothing prepares you for this,” said Tyler.
I am very grateful that I got to capture this special moment. What an honor! Birth photography is quickly becoming my favorite type of session.
